Acceptance of Terms

  • By creating an account, joining activities, creating communities, or using Social Monkey services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
  • If you do not agree, you should discontinue use of the platform.

Eligibility and Accounts

  • You must meet the minimum age and legal eligibility requirements in your jurisdiction.
  • You are responsible for account credentials and all activity under your account.
  • You must provide accurate profile and account information and keep it updated.

Communities, Activities, and Creator Responsibilities

  • Creators and hosts are responsible for accurate activity and community details, including timing, location, capacity, eligibility, and expectations.
  • Misleading listings, harmful behavior, harassment, discrimination, or abuse are prohibited.
  • Verified status is determined by Social Monkey criteria and may be revoked if standards are not maintained.

User Conduct

  • You agree to engage respectfully with members, creators, and communities.
  • You must not upload unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or harmful content.
  • You must not attempt to disrupt platform operations, bypass security controls, or misuse APIs and automated systems.

Memberships, Payments, and Refunds

  • Membership tiers, subscription terms, and paid activity participation are subject to creator and platform rules shown at checkout or enrollment.
  • Payments are processed through supported payment providers and may include processing rules and verification steps.
  • Refunds, cancellations, and disputes are handled according to the applicable policy for the transaction, activity, or tier.

Content, Ratings, and Feedback

  • You retain rights in content you submit, but grant Social Monkey a license to host, display, distribute, and promote that content for platform operations.
  • Ratings, reviews, and feedback should be truthful and based on genuine participation.
  • We may moderate or remove content that violates policies or legal requirements.

Social Links and Third-Party Services

  • Activities, communities, and profiles may include links to third-party services such as social media or messaging platforms.
  • Social Monkey is not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or service availability.

Termination and Suspension

  • We may suspend, limit, or terminate access for policy violations, fraud risks, legal concerns, or security threats.
  • You may stop using the platform at any time, but obligations related to prior actions or transactions may continue.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

  • Social Monkey is provided on an as-available basis without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free service.
  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, Social Monkey is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform use.

Changes to Terms

  • We may revise these Terms as the platform evolves or legal obligations change.
  • Continued use after updates indicates acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

  • These Terms are governed by applicable laws, subject to local consumer protection rules where required.
  • Disputes will be handled under the applicable legal framework communicated by Social Monkey.
